Patients must feel absolutely safe before they try something out. Grab bars should not feel flimsy or shake while in use.

The unigrip grab bar (Art 4) was designed to be steady and solid in all directions, providing patients the sense of safety that they require. This padded bar can be pulled down from the wall next to the toilet to use as support. Patients can lean on it with their entire weight, freeing up a caregiver, as only one is then required to assist them with, for example, dressing or undressing. In addition, the unigrip bar can be easily adjusted without the use of special tools.
